The Gordon's: Halloween...and football

We had a great Halloween. The boys had a lot of fun trick or treating with their cousins...although I forgot my camera and didn't get any pictures of them in their costumes! I did get some by email from my cousin so I will add those soon. John John had strep throat a couple of days before Halloween so we didn't get out to get our pumpkins until Halloween day. Note to self: Don't wait until Halloween day to look for pumpkins. We had a hard time finding them and when we did, they were ..might I say.."special"! They had fun carving them anyway and they turned out just fine!!

On Saturday John had his second round of football playoffs. We have all had the best time watching him grow to love playing football this year. He really does love it. In the regular season they only lost one game and that was to the Murfreesboro Mustangs so when we found out that was who they were playing in the second round the boys were all pumped up!!

This is "bug". She is the team mascot and quite possibly the best dog I have ever been around. She runs out with the team and then goes directly off the field to her owner. They also say that when their boys start getting dressed for their games she goes and waits by her purple leash and collar! The kids love her!!
