So proud!!

I am so proud of JohnJohn. As you all know,he learned to ride his bike a couple of weeks ago without training wheels and then today he got his kindergarten shots wihout even crying!!! If you heard about his flu shot experience (which didn't even prevent him from getting the flu by the way), and you probably did actually hear the flu shot episode if you live within 3 miles of his pediatricians office---then you know that this is a BIG deal!!!!!!!
I decided on Saturday to warn him about the shots and he was ok with it, just wanted to know if he could have ice cream afterwards. So this morning he woke up and asked if we could go to the doctor now and get his shots over with. Luckily his appointment was at 9:00, so we got ready and headed out. As soon as the nurse called him back he asked her if she could go ahead and do the shots, so she did all her other things,like testing his hearing and vision, and then he hopped up in my lap and took it like a man-probably better than some men!!! He got 3 shots!!!!!So his check up went great!!! I think the fact that they wanted him to pee in a cup stressed him out more than the shots. Look out Kindergaren here he comes!!!!
And yes, we did have ice cream!!!
