I know,it has been awhile....

It seems like alot of my posts have similar titles! I am not very good at keeping this blog up to date. We have actually had a pretty busy past couple of weeks. Since my last post---I have had pneumonia,we have celebrated 2 birthdays and Thanksgiving,we have all had a stomach virus, John sang in An Angel's Christmas at our church, and he (John) fell and cut his head and had to have it glued together at the doctor's office!!!! There really is not many dull moments around here!!!

Both of the boys had great birthdays. Sam chose to have a Woody Party and John chose a Pirate party!!! Our playroom definitely gets full having 2 birthdays and Christmas so close together!!

John did a great job in the Christmas program at church yesterday! I think he spent more time waving at us than he did actually singing. He loves being on the stage!!!

This morning as he was running out the door to greet his cousin, who was coming to stay with us, he tripped and hit his head ona decorative box on the front porch. The cut was not very long, but seemed to be pretty deep. We went ahead and went to the doctor's office just to be safe and they did need to glue the edges back together. John was very brave (unlike when he got his flu shot) and after the trip to the doctor,we took a trip to Wal-Mart for a prize!!! This is our 3rd incident like this for him!!! He has had staples in the back of his head and glue near his eyebrow! With these 2 boys I am sure this is just the beginning of our emergencies!!!

The next few weeks are going to be busy, busy, busy!!! Christmas is definitely upon us!!! I am about half way through with our shopping and our first family celebration is in about 12 days!!!! I better get busy and finish up!!!

Oh yeah--we had a great time on Friday going to the Christmas Tree farm and cutting down our own Christmas tree!!! This was a first for all of us!! (Well, for John it was the first time he has cut down a tree somewhere where you were allowed to cut down a tree!!!) The Christmas Tree farm had free hayrides, hot cocoa and apple cider. I think we may have started a new tradition!!!

I am going to try to post some pics of the last few weeks!!
