So, it has been a looooong time since I last updated this ol' blog of mine. Sadie is long past her first bites of baby food. As a matter of fact she is 2 and will eat just about anything. Sam started and finished Kindergarten and is half way through first grade. John is in 3rd grade and has just about the sweetest heart of any little boy I know...although, he isn't really a little boy anymore.
I really never planned on starting to blog again because, well let's face it, I am not very good at it. But, there is something coming up that I am very excited about and want to share with all of you . In July of this year my sister Kelley and I are heading to Ethiopia. We will be joining about 25 others on the trip. We will be representing Ordinary Hero. I have followed OH and their work in Ethiopia (and other places) for a while now and am so excited to be able to join them this time. During our trip we will be visiting a different orphanage each day and will also visit Korah, which is an area in Ethiopia where people are actually living in a trash dump where they dig for food to eat and items to sell to survive. I am sure this will be the first of many posts leading up to my trip and of course after I return as well.
I look forward to sharing with you ways you can "join" me on this trip. Whether through prayer, financial support or helping me collect items to take the children in Ethiopia. Look back soo for more information!!
