Sorry Mom!!!

So my mom just emailed me and "jokingly" (I think) told me I should tell my "blogging friends" to update their blogs, because it had been a couple of days for almost everyone. (So get to blogging girls. Mom said!!!!) I realized that I hadn't blogged in a long time either!!! The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy around here, but the sad thing is I don't think I have picked up my camera even once . For some reason, I feel like I shouldn't post if I don't have pictures to share, but today, I will. Let's see....last weekend we spend the whole weekend working around the house. We painted, took down fence, put up fence, major cleaning etc. I used about 2 boxes of Clorox Erasers!! I love those things!! On Monday (7/2)John cousin,Glenn and his family came from North Carolina to spend the week with us. He and his wife have a little boy who is almost 3 and a daughter who is 10!! We had a lot of fun with them. We hadn't seen them in a couple of years. We went to Opry Mills, Bell Buckle, and Wave Country while they were here. On the 4th we spent the day at John's parents and shot fireworks, which I wasn't able to enjoy because my oldest was terrified of them.....I think he was having flashbacks to the Couey's 4th of July extravaganzas of years past...anyway, we were inside watching Jimmy Neutron!! We had a great time with Glenn and his family and hope to see them again soon. They left on Friday morning to spend sometime in Gatlinburg before heading back to NC!! On Friday night we took the boys to the drive-in!! We had been promising them for weeks that we would do this and finally, we made it. We had a lot of fun. The Drive In in Woodbury is really nice and not too far from home. We didn't make it to the 2nd movie though. We may have to go back without the boys sometime!!! That is pretty much it. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures---I have got to be better about that!!!!!
