Fun Weekend

We had a great time this weekend. The weekend started out with "Romance and Roses" at our church on Friday night. R&R is a yearly event that our church puts on around Valentine's Day. We have attended every year since coming to FBC and always have a great time. This year was no exception. We had a good meal, enjoyed spending time with our friends and the entertainment was comedian Kenn Kington. He was very funny!! It was a great night!!

Saturday morning,John had his first Soccer game at the Y. It was so fun to watch.John could hardly play for waving at us!! I will post some pics of the game! Saturday afternoon we celebrated our friend Maddy's first birthday--which is actually today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDY!! We went home long enough to nap and then went back to Maddy's house so the guys could watch the Pro Bowl and play cards. We had fun hanging out with them!

Sunday after church we went to lunch with several couples from Sunday School. There were 10 adults and 10 kids!! We had a good time, but it will probably be the last time all of us go to lunch together--let's just say that by the time we were done with lunch, it was almost time for supper!! Sunday night we went to Tusculum Hills to hear my nephew Jordan sing. We are so proud of him. This is about the 3rd time he has sang in front of their congregation and he does a great job!!! Way to go Jordan!!!

It was a busy busy weekend but we had a great time with family and friends!!



Now it is back to cleaning the house!!
