Today was the first day of school for the boys. John has been going to Mother's Day Out for the past 2 years or so, but for Sam,it really was his VERY first day of school. Last night as I was getting their stuff ready for the day, I got a little sad thinking that Sam (the baby) would be going to school. Although I didn't say anything, I was really worried that he wouldn't want to go and would get upset when we left him. So this morning we got up and got everyone ready--so far so good. He was so happy to have his very own Buzz Lightyear lunchbox!! We loaded up in the car and headed to school. Still, deep down, I am thinking "he isn't going to like this." We walk up to his classroom door--his teacher says "leave all your things at the door and give mommy and daddy a hug and a kiss and tell them bye-bye" and what does he do? He puts his stuff down,grabs his lunchbox and .........rushes right in and starts playing!!!! What was I thinking? When we walked back by his door he plopped his lunchbox on the table and told his teacher "I ready to eat breakfast now"(Every meal is breakfast to Sam). He had a great time!!
John has never had a problem going to school and today was no different!! He walked right in and started playing. I asked him this afternoon who he played with and he said " the pink girl". I guess there was no time for asking for names!! He is very sociable,just like his daddy!!!!!
After school we met Eli and Jonah (and Becca) at the park to play!!!
So the boys had a great first day of school and mommy enjoyed the time she had to herself,so all in all it has been a great day!!!!

Glad they had a good first day. Emery just walked up and says, "Is that John at school?" They had a great first day as well!
